Social Services Designer

- Use design thinking to develop innovative solutions that address the needs of patients and the community.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly designs for social service programs and resources.
- Conduct research and gather data to inform design decisions and measure the effectiveness of social services.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback on designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in both social work and design.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Deaconess Health System's mission, values, and goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment of design with overall organizational branding.
- Attend and participate in team meetings to provide updates on design projects and gather input from team members.
- Utilize various design tools and software to create and present designs to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure effective and strategic dissemination of social service design projects.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon existing social service designs to ensure they meet the needs of patients and the community.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Act as an advocate and ambassador for the Deaconess Health System and its social services.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Social Work Or A Related Field Is Essential For A Social Services Designer At Deaconess Health System. This Degree Provides A Solid Foundation In Understanding The Needs Of Individuals And Families, As Well As The Systems And Resources Available To Support Them.
Experience In Program Design And Implementation: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience In Designing And Implementing Social Service Programs. This Includes Creating Program Goals And Objectives, Developing Strategies To Achieve Them, And Evaluating Program Outcomes.
Knowledge Of Social Services And Community Resources: A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Social Services And Community Resources Available Is Necessary For A Social Services Designer. This Includes Knowledge Of Government Programs, Non-Profit Organizations, And Other Resources That Can Support Individuals And Families In Need.
