Job Description

Looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team at Deaconess Health System as a Service Line Manager. As a Service Line Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our healthcare services, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in healthcare management, a passion for improving patient outcomes, and the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the healthcare services within the designated service line.
  2. Create and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
  3. Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
  4. Lead and motivate a team of healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
  5. Monitor and analyze service line performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards within the service line.
  8. Conduct regular assessments of staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  9. Manage the budget and resources for the service line, including staffing and equipment needs.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and enhance services.
  11. Represent the service line and the organization in meetings, conferences, and other professional events.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the service line.
  13. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including patients, staff, and leadership, to build trust and maintain positive relationships.
  14. Handle any service-related complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Continuously evaluate and adjust processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the service line.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Healthcare Management, Preferably In A Hospital Or Health System Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team Effectively.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Regulations And Best Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Departments And Stakeholders.
