RN- Ortho Neuro

Deaconess Health System is looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ortho Neuro team. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing care within an Ortho Neuro setting. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, organized, and patient-focused. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, have a clinical background in Ortho Neuro nursing, and be knowledgeable in providing care to patients of all ages.The successful applicant will be required to have an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana, a minimum of two years’ experience as an RN in an Ortho Neuro setting, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) for the Ortho Neuro team include:

1. Utilizing nursing skills and knowledge to provide patient-centered care in an Ortho Neuro setting.
2. Assessing patient needs and developing individual care plans.
3. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
4. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
5. Monitoring patients’ vital signs and condition, and reporting changes to a physician.
6. Documenting patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
7. Maintaining a safe and clean environment.
8. Demonstrating a commitment to excellence, patient-centered care, and delivering quality care.
