1. Provide compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Surgical Trauma ICU.
2. Utilize strong clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
3. Monitor and document patient progress and respond to any changes in condition.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-hospital care.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
8. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
9. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and new developments in healthcare.
10. Serve as a patient advocate and communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
12. Report any concerns or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
13. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
