Responsibilities:

1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care services for patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
2. Administer treatments, medications, and therapies as ordered by physicians and as appropriate to respiratory care.
3. Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, respiratory status, and overall condition.
4. Provide patient education and discharge instructions in accordance with the individual patient needs.
5. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with departmental regulations and healthcare standards.
6. Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
7. Follow safety protocols and adhere to infection control standards.
8. Participate in continuing education programs to stay up to date with the latest advances in respiratory care.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
