Public Security Officer

At Deaconess Health System, we are looking to hire a Public Security Officer to help ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful Public Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling the hospital premises and responding to security-related incidents. They will also ensure that safety and security policies and procedures are followed. To be successful in this role, the individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least two years of experience in a security-related field. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check are also required. They should also have a good knowledge of emergency response procedures, and be able to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. 5. Reporting any suspicious activity or potential security risks.
6. Investigating security-related incidents and writing reports.
7. Developing and implementing security plans and strategies.
8. Coordinating with law enforcement and other emergency services.
9. Monitoring security cameras and access control systems.
10. Training staff and visitors on security procedures.
