- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment in the central supply department.
- Monitor and restock supplies as needed to ensure availability for patient care.
- Receive and inspect incoming supplies for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and assemble supply kits for various departments within the healthcare facility.
- Distribute supplies and equipment to different areas of the facility as requested.
- Follow proper storage and handling procedures for all supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the central supply department.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols while handling supplies and equipment.
- Assist with inventory audits and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Train and mentor new central supply technicians as needed.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: This Position Typically Requires A Minimum Education Level Of A High School Diploma Or Ged. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge To Perform The Job Duties.
Certification In Central Supply Or Sterile Processing: Candidates With A Certification In Central Supply Or Sterile Processing Demonstrate A Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In This Field. This Certification Also Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With Industry Standards And Protocols.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility Are Preferred For This Position. This Experience Demonstrates An Understanding Of Healthcare Operations And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
