- Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and ensuring the proper dosage and instructions are provided.
- Patient Consultations: The Pharmacist will conduct patient consultations to explain medication usage, potential side effects, and answer any questions or concerns. They will also ensure patients understand how to properly take their medications.
- Medication Management: The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and monitoring patient medication therapy to ensure safe and effective use, including checking for potential drug interactions and allergies.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: The Pharmacist will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients. This may include participating in multidisciplinary rounds and providing medication recommendations.
- Medication Ordering and Inventory: The Pharmacist will be responsible for ordering medications and maintaining appropriate inventory levels to ensure medications are readily available for patients.
- Compliance with Regulations: The Pharmacist will adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to medication dispensing and record-keeping. They will also ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Patient Safety: The Pharmacist will prioritize patient safety by accurately labeling medications, checking for potential drug interactions, and reporting any medication errors or adverse drug reactions.
- Quality Assurance: The Pharmacist will participate in quality assurance programs to ensure ongoing compliance with medication safety and effectiveness standards.
- Staff Training: The Pharmacist will provide training and education to pharmacy staff on new medications, policies, and procedures to ensure a high level of competency and understanding.
- Continuous Learning: The Pharmacist will stay up-to-date on new medications, treatment protocols, and industry developments through attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses.
- Maintaining Records: The Pharmacist will maintain accurate and organized records of patient medications, consultations, and other pharmacy-related activities.

Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) From An Accredited College Or University.
Current And Valid State License To Practice Pharmacy.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals, Drug Interactions, And Dosage Calculations.
