• Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from various areas within the hospital, including but not limited to patient rooms, diagnostic testing areas, and surgical suites
• Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring their comfort and safety during transport
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor to help ease patient anxiety and promote a positive patient experience
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a smooth and timely transport process
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a clean and sterile environment
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to anticipate and address any potential challenges or obstacles during transport
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transport schedules and prioritize urgent requests
