  1. Provide compassionate and exceptional care to patients by attending to their physical and emotional needs.
  2. Assist in daily patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  4. Administer medication and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including regular disinfection of equipment and surfaces.
  6. Answer patient call lights and assist with patient requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
  8. Participate in patient care conferences and provide input on patient progress and needs.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  12. Serve as a positive and professional representative of Deaconess Health System to patients, families, and visitors.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient rights at all times.
  14. Assist with transporting patients and transferring them to and from beds and chairs.
  15. Report any concerns or issues to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
  16. Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  17. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  18. Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in emergency response procedures.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff or supervisor.
