Outreach Phlebotomist

We are looking for a highly organized, patient-focused individual who is dedicated to providing excellent care and services to our patients. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience, be comfortable with computer systems, and have excellent communication and customer service skills. They must also possess certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). This individual will need to possess an understanding of laboratory and clinical principles, and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

-Perform phlebotomy services in accordance with hospital and laboratory standards -Collect blood samples from patients in an efficient and professional manner -Successfully complete all required paperwork and documentation -Label and store samples appropriately -Perform quality control tests and maintain laboratory equipment -Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent customer service -Communicate effectively with patients, staff and administration -Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital and laboratory policies and procedures
