- Provide acute care coverage for patients with disorders related to the ear, nose, and throat.
- Diagnose and treat patients with a variety of otolaryngological conditions, such as sinusitis, allergies, hearing loss, and throat infections.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in otolaryngology and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice.

Board Certification In Otolaryngology: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Be Board Certified In Otolaryngology By The American Board Of Otolaryngology. This Ensures That The Physician Has Met The Rigorous Training And Examination Requirements In The Field Of Otolaryngology.
Extensive Experience In Acute Care: The Candidate Should Have A Demonstrated Track Record Of Providing Acute Care Services In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting. This Includes The Ability To Diagnose And Treat A Wide Range Of Acute Conditions Related To The Ear, Nose, And Throat.
Advanced Surgical Skills: Otolaryngologists Are Trained To Perform A Variety Of Surgical Procedures Related To The Head And Neck. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Advanced Surgical Skills And Experience In Performing Complex Procedures, Such As Head And Neck Cancer Surgery And Endoscopic Sinus Surgery.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Member Of The Deaconess Health System Team, The Otolaryngologist Will Be Expected To Work Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Communicate Effectively With Patients And Their Families. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing High-Quality Patient Care.
