We are seeking a passionate individual with a strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, safety, or related field and at least two years of experience in a healthcare setting. They must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues. Responsibilities: • Provide health and safety related services and support for Deaconess Health System employees • Monitor workplace safety and health conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Develop, implement, and evaluate health and safety programs, policies, and procedures • Educate and train staff on health and safety topics • Investigate and document workplace incidents • Maintain accurate records of safety and health activities • Create reports and present findings to management • Monitor compliance with occupational health standards • Respond to employee health and safety inquiries • Maintain current knowledge of relevant safety and health regulations
