- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Collect, process, and analyze patient samples using various laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality control and accuracy of test results.
- Document and report test results in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with new developments and advancements in the field of medical technology.
- Assist in training and mentoring new employees and students.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate records, including test results, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining laboratory accreditation.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely and accurate test results.
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification As A Medical Technologist (Mt) Or Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) From An Accredited Organization Such As Ascp Or Amt.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Laboratory Tests And Procedures, Including But Not Limited To Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, And Immunology.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Interpret And Analyze Laboratory Results.
