  1. Oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the overall performance and productivity of the radiology department.
  3. Manage and mentor a team of radiology staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a high level of job performance and job satisfaction.
  4. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance departmental performance.
  5. Collaborate with other department managers and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of radiology services with other departments.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and implement new technologies and practices to enhance the quality of radiology services.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and supplies.
  8. Create and maintain departmental policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory guidelines and best practices.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff.
  10. Manage departmental budget and resources effectively to ensure cost-efficient operations.
  11. Promote a culture of patient-centered care and ensure patient satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery of radiology services.
  12. Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  13. Represent the radiology department in meetings and committees to provide updates, share insights, and seek input from other stakeholders.
  14. Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the department or with other departments.
  15. Maintain accurate records and reports related to the department's operations, including financial data, staff schedules, and patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Radiology Operations, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Management Role.

  • Knowledge Of Current Trends And Developments In Radiology Technology And Operations.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.

  • Experience With Budgeting, Scheduling, And Resource Management In A Healthcare Setting.
