1. Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on all equipment and facilities within the Deaconess Health System, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
2. Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards and address any maintenance issues in a timely manner.
3. Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance problems.
4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including documentation of equipment and facility maintenance schedules.
5. Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
7. Communicate with hospital staff and patients to address any maintenance concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
8. Manage and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in maintenance practices, and make recommendations for process improvements.
10. Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
12. Report any major maintenance issues or potential hazards to the Facilities Manager.
13. Follow all infection control protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
14. Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy regulations and maintain the security of sensitive information.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
