  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization's IT systems, in alignment with the overall goals and mission of Deaconess Health System.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing a team of IT professionals and ensuring all tasks and projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Monitor and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems, to ensure optimal performance and data protection.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in IT, and make recommendations for implementing new technologies and processes to improve the organization's overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the security of sensitive data.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify IT needs and provide solutions to enhance their workflows and processes.
  7. Manage the IT budget, including forecasting and planning for future technology needs and expenses.
  8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for IT staff.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the IT department and senior management, providing regular updates on IT projects, initiatives, and any potential issues or risks.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT department, regularly seeking out opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  12. Stay current on healthcare industry regulations and standards and ensure that all IT systems and operations are in compliance.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of IT services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In An It Leadership Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of And Experience With It Systems And Infrastructure, Including Network Management, Security Protocols, And Server Administration.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Collaborate With A Diverse Team.

  • Proven Experience In Project Management, Budgeting, And Strategic Planning For It Initiatives.
