
Instrument Technician

- Sterilizing surgical instruments using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure the safety and efficiency of procedures.
- Assisting with various surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and equipment.
- Conducting inventory checks and ordering supplies as needed to ensure an adequate stock of instruments.
- Collaborating with surgical team members to ensure all instruments are properly prepared and available for procedures.
- Maintaining knowledge of medical terminology and equipment to accurately identify and handle instruments.
- Following infection control and safety protocols to prevent any potential risks.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Being available for on-call duties and assisting with emergency procedures when necessary.
- Keeping accurate records of instrument maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
- Communicating effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and timely operations.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Formal Training Or Certification In Instrumentation Technology
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Instrumentation Technician
