1. Provide exceptional care for patients in the Med/Surg unit.
2. Utilize nursing knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans for patients.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Monitor and document patient's vital signs, progress, and response to treatment.
6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-hospital care.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
8. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
9. Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with current nursing practices and trends.
11. Serve as a patient advocate, addressing any concerns or needs they may have.
