1. Provide exceptional patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing evidence-based nursing practices.
2. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, document observations and interventions, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols.
6. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and after-care instructions.
7. Respond to emergency situations and provide prompt and appropriate interventions.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and supplies.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall development and enhancement of the Emergency Department.
10. Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards patients, families, and colleagues.
11. Keep current with advancements in nursing practices and incorporate new knowledge into daily practice.
12. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines, including infection control protocols.
13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
14. Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
