As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team by collecting blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing.   1. Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages, accurately collecting and labeling blood samples for diagnostic testing.
  2. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when collecting and handling blood samples.
  3. Follow established safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  4. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to phlebotomy and patient privacy.
  5. Keep accurate records of all blood samples collected and ensure proper documentation.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns they may have.
  7. Work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate processing of blood samples.
  8. Prepare and maintain phlebotomy equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with best practices and new techniques in phlebotomy.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  11. Handle difficult or challenging situations with patience and empathy.
  12. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and offering suggestions for improvement.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  14. Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Phlebotomist: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid Certification From A Recognized Phlebotomy Program.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Phlebotomy Is Required, Preferably In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Able To Accurately Identify And Label Specimens.

  • Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In Phlebotomy And The Candidate Should Be Able To Pay Close Attention To Detail To Ensure Correct Specimen Collection And Labeling.

  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Necessary For This Role As The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Patients On A Daily Basis And Should Be Able To Make Them Feel Comfortable And At Ease During The Blood Collection Process.
