1. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas within the healthcare facility, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
2. Follow established infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
3. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are properly stored and used according to safety guidelines.
4. Collaborate with other members of the environmental services team to complete daily tasks and address any urgent cleaning needs.
5. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues.
6. Respond promptly to any requests for cleaning or maintenance assistance from patients, staff, or visitors.
7. Maintain accurate records of cleaning and maintenance tasks completed, as well as any issues or concerns that arise.
8. Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on best practices for environmental services and infection control.
9. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and suggest ways to enhance the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility.
