High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For This Position. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And The Ability To Follow Instructions And Complete Tasks.
Emt-Basic Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Emt-Basic Certification From An Accredited Program. This Certification Ensures The Individual Has Completed The Necessary Training And Has The Skills To Provide Emergency Medical Care.
Cpr And First Aid Certification: A Current Cpr And First Aid Certification Is Required For An Emergency Services Technician At Deaconess Health System. This Certification Ensures The Candidate Is Prepared To Handle Emergency Situations And Can Provide Life-Saving Care.
Experience In Emergency Services: Prior Experience Working In An Emergency Services Setting Is Preferred For This Role. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations And Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For An Emergency Services Technician, As They Will Be Responsible For Relaying Information To Patients, Medical Staff, And Emergency Responders. This Includes Both Written And Verbal Communication Skills.
