- Greet and welcome patients and their families to Deaconess Health System in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns that patients may have regarding home medical equipment and supplies.
- Assist patients in selecting the appropriate home medical equipment and supplies based on their individual needs and medical conditions.
- Accurately process orders for home medical equipment and supplies, ensuring that all necessary documentation and insurance information is obtained.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary prescriptions and authorizations for home medical equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of patient information, orders, and inventory.
- Educate patients on proper use and maintenance of home medical equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate with other departments and outside vendors to ensure timely delivery of home medical equipment and supplies.
- Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to home medical equipment and supplies to provide the best possible care to patients.
