Job Description

  1. Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients with various medical conditions.
  2. Evaluate patients' nutritional needs and requirements.
  3. Monitor and track patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.
  4. Educate patients on proper nutrition and its impact on their overall health and well-being.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in the field of nutrition.
  7. Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding dietary changes and lifestyle modifications.
  8. Conduct nutritional assessments and screenings to identify potential nutritional deficiencies or risks.
  9. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  10. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment options.
  11. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines regarding patient care and confidentiality.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve nutrition programs and services offered by the healthcare system.
  13. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients and their families.
  14. Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives to promote nutrition and wellness.
  15. Attend regular trainings and conferences to expand knowledge and skills in the field of clinical nutrition.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Including The Ability To Assess And Manage A Variety Of Medical Conditions And Diseases.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Counsel Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals On Nutrition And Dietary Needs.
