  1. Provide assistance to the cardiac care team in delivering exceptional patient care.
  2. Conduct diagnostic tests and assist with procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  3. Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatments.
  4. Administer medications and assist with medication management.
  5. Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Keep abreast of new developments and techniques in the field of cardiology.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with data collection and analysis.
  11. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients and their families.
  12. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care for patients.
  13. Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing patient information.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to promoting a healthy community through health education and outreach programs.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Nursing Knowledge And Skills Is Essential For A Clinical Cardiac Assistant At Deaconess Health System.

  • Valid State Nursing License: Candidates Must Possess A Current And Valid Nursing License In The State Where Deaconess Health System Is Located.

  • Acls And Bls Certification: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications Are Required For This Position To Ensure That Candidates Are Trained In Emergency Cardiac Care.

  • Previous Experience In A Clinical Setting: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Cardiology Or Cardiac Unit.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Clinical Cardiac Assistant, Candidates Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing High-Quality Patient Care And Building Effective Relationships With Colleagues.
