
Clinic Medical Assistant
At Deaconess Health System, we are looking for a Clinic Medical Assistant to join our team of dedicated medical professionals. The successful candidate must have a genuine interest in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our patients. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent service.The Clinic Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clinical duties in our outpatient clinic. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: a high school diploma or equivalent; certification or registration as a Medical Assistant; current CPR certification; and at least one year of experience in a medical office setting. Additionally, the successful candidate must have strong computer skills and be comfortable working with electronic medical records.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the outpatient clinic.
- Perform a variety of administrative and clinical duties, such as scheduling appointments, collecting patient information, and preparing examination rooms.
- Ensure patient records are maintained accurately and securely according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with exams and procedures.
- Administer injections, medications, and other treatments as directed by the physician.
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment room supplies.
- Educate patients on their care and any medications or treatments prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment in the clinic.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
