  1. Oversee and direct the nursing staff and operations at Deaconess Health System.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for nursing services in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to nursing practice.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the executive team to develop policies, procedures, and protocols for nursing practice.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided and implement improvements as needed.
  6. Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  7. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for nursing staff, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  8. Manage the budget for nursing services, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  9. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments within the organization.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in nursing and incorporate them into the organization's operations.
  11. Represent the organization in professional nursing associations and conferences.
  12. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior for all nursing staff.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  14. Participate in recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.
  15. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote the organization's mission and vision.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience As A Registered Nurse, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Master's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Current And Active Nursing License In The State Of Employment.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Management And Development Of Nursing Staff, As Well As Implementing And Improving Patient Care Processes.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Compliance, And Accreditation Standards, With The Ability To Develop And Maintain Policies And Procedures That Ensure Compliance Across The Organization.
