- Oversee the daily operations of the Chest Pain Center, ensuring that all services and protocols are followed accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and promote best practices within the Chest Pain Center.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to chest pain care.
- Conduct regular audits and quality control checks to ensure the highest level of care is being provided to patients.
- Train and educate staff on new protocols, procedures, and technologies related to chest pain care.
- Serve as a resource to patients and their families, providing education and support regarding chest pain management and prevention.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments within the hospital to ensure seamless coordination of care for chest pain patients.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Healthcare Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Cardiac Nursing Or Emergency Medicine.
Certification As A Chest Pain Coordinator (Cpc) Through The American College Of Cardiology (Acc) Or Similar Organization.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Guidelines And Best Practices For Chest Pain Management.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Healthcare Professionals And Departments To Ensure Efficient And Effective Care For Chest Pain Patients.
