
Certified Surgical Technologist Outpatient

- Perform surgical procedures: The Outpatient Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical professionals in performing surgical procedures by setting up equipment, preparing surgical instruments, and passing instruments to the surgeon.
- Maintain sterile environment: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room by following strict infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment and instruments are properly sterilized.
- Prepare for surgeries: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for preparing the operating room for surgeries by setting up all necessary equipment, supplies, and instruments. They will also be responsible for positioning and prepping the patient for surgery.
- Anticipate surgeon’s needs: The Surgical Technologist will be expected to anticipate the needs of the surgeon during the procedure by passing instruments and supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor patient’s vital signs: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for monitoring the patient’s vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate, during the procedure and reporting any changes to the surgical team.
- Assist with patient care: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting with patient care before, during, and after surgery, including transporting patients, positioning them correctly, and providing emotional support.
- Ensure accuracy and safety: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and safety during procedures by following established protocols, double-checking instruments and equipment, and reporting any discrepancies or safety concerns.
- Maintain inventory: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for maintaining inventory of all surgical supplies and equipment, restocking as needed, and notifying appropriate personnel when supplies need to be ordered.

Previous Experience In Outpatient Setting: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Surgical Technologist In An Outpatient Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.
Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures: A Thorough Understanding Of Various Surgical Procedures, Instruments, And Equipment Used In Outpatient Surgeries Is Essential For This Role.
Proficiency In Sterilization Techniques: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Proper Sterilization Techniques And Infection Control Measures To Maintain A Safe And Sterile Environment In The Operating Room.
