Certified Surgical Technologist

This individual should have a positive attitude and be committed to providing the highest quality of care.The ideal candidate must possess a current Certified Surgical Technologist certification and a minimum of two years of experience. In addition, they should have a strong knowledge of sterile processing principles, aseptic techniques, and patient care techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work well with a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
2. Maintain current Certified Surgical Technologist certification.
3. Adhere to sterile processing principles, aseptic techniques, and patient care techniques.
4. Assist surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff in the operating room.
5. Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and supplies.
6. Assist in the transfer of patients to and from the operating room.
7. Ensure that all instruments and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of surgical procedures.
9. Participate in continuing education and other training activities as needed.
10. Exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality of patient information and records.
11. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
12. Work well with a team and collaborate with all team members to ensure the best patient care.
