Job Qualifications
  • Certified Tumor Registrar (Ctr) Credentials From The National Cancer Registrars Association (Ncra).

  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Cancer Registry Management, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Proficiency In Cancer Staging, Abstracting, And Coding Using The Current Version Of The Ajcc Cancer Staging Manual And Icd-O Coding System.

  • Strong Understanding Of Hipaa Regulations And Patient Privacy Laws As They Relate To Cancer Registry Data.
