- Manage and oversee all aspects of clinical research studies at Deaconess Health System.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and protocols.
- Develop and maintain relationships with study sponsors, principal investigators, and other key stakeholders.
- Screen and enroll eligible participants for clinical trials.
- Conduct study visits and collect data from participants according to study protocols.
- Coordinate and communicate with study team members, including physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff.
- Maintain accurate and organized study documentation, including participant records, data forms, and study files.
- Monitor and report on study progress, including recruitment, enrollment, and data collection.
- Collaborate with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to obtain and maintain study approvals.
- Ensure participant safety and ethical conduct of all research activities.
- Train and supervise research staff, including research assistants and coordinators.
- Assist with data analysis and interpretation of study results.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices in clinical research.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical research processes.
- Contribute to the dissemination of study findings through presentations and publications.

Bachelor's Degree In A Health-Related Field: A Certified Clinical Research Coordinator At Deaconess Health System Should Have A Strong Educational Background In A Health-Related Field, Such As Nursing, Biology, Or Pharmacology. This Provides A Solid Foundation For Understanding Medical Terminology And Procedures.
Certification From A Recognized Organization: Deaconess Health System May Require A Certified Clinical Research Coordinator To Hold A Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As The Association Of Clinical Research Professionals (Acrp) Or The Society Of Clinical Research Associates (Socra).
Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp): A Key Responsibility Of A Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Is To Ensure That All Clinical Trials Are Conducted In Compliance With Fda Regulations And Gcp Guidelines.
