Central Supply Technician

At Deaconess Health System, we are looking for an experienced Central Supply Technician to join our team. As a Central Supply Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, organization, and inventory of the medical and surgical supplies and equipment. This is a key role in providing a safe and efficient environment for our patients and staff.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience. You must also be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of a Central Supply Technician:

1. Maintain and organize medical and surgical supplies and equipment.
2. Ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
3. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
4. Monitor supplies and equipment inventory.
5. Place orders for supplies and equipment when necessary.
6. Ensure all items are stored properly and in the correct location.
7. Ensure all supplies and equipment are in good working condition.
8. Coordinate with other departments for medical and surgical supply needs.
9. Provide assistance with any supply or equipment related issues.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
