Cancer Registrar

This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of data collection, coding, and reporting procedures, as well as a broad knowledge of medical and cancer terminology.To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of two years of cancer registry experience, along with a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification. Knowledge of the Commission on Cancer (CoC) standards is also desired. Responsibilities:

1. Collect, analyze, and report cancer patient data according to national standards and state requirements.

8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes.
9. Respond promptly and accurately to any inquiries or requests from patients or other healthcare providers.
10. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of cancer registry information.
