Job Description

Welcome to Dave & Buster's, the ultimate destination for food, fun, and games! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Support Technician to join our team. As a Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our arcade games, amusement rides, and other entertainment equipment. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional guest service and have a strong technical aptitude. If you are a problem-solver with a positive attitude and a knack for fixing things, we want you on our team!

  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on arcade games, amusement rides, and other entertainment equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment and implement solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize guest satisfaction.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on all equipment, following company guidelines and procedures.
  4. Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to guest requests and inquiries related to the operation of equipment.
  5. Communicate effectively with management and other team members to report any issues or concerns and work together to find solutions.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  7. Assist with the installation and set-up of new equipment, ensuring it meets safety standards and is operating correctly.
  8. Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts and supplies to maintain equipment and ensure a smooth operation.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall guest experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge And Skills: A Support Technician At Dave & Buster's Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Computer Hardware And Software, Networking, And Troubleshooting Techniques. They Should Also Have Experience With Point-Of-Sale Systems And Other Technology Used In A Restaurant Or Entertainment Setting.

  • Customer Service Experience: As A Support Technician, You Will Be Interacting With Customers And Employees On A Daily Basis. It Is Important To Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Remain Calm And Patient While Resolving Technical Issues.

  • Time Management And Multitasking Abilities: In A Fast-Paced Environment Like Dave & Buster's, Support Technicians Must Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Handle Multiple Requests At Once. Being Able To Manage Time Effectively And Work Efficiently Under Pressure Is Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: A Support Technician Must Be Detail-Oriented And Have A Keen Eye For Identifying And Solving Technical Problems. They Should Also Be Able To Follow Standard Operating Procedures And Document Their Work Accurately.
