- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and fulfilling guests' needs and requests.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Ensure that the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Answer and direct phone calls and take reservations when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with guests, as well as other team members and management.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with seating and table assignments to ensure efficient flow of guests.
- Promote a fun and energetic atmosphere by engaging with guests and creating a welcoming environment.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the guest experience.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, promotions, and events happening at Dave & Buster's.
Excellent Customer Service Skills - Front Desk/Host At Dave & Buster's Must Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Top-Notch Service To Guests.
Multitasking Abilities - The Job Requires Handling Multiple Tasks At Once, Such As Answering Phone Calls, Taking Reservations, And Managing Guest Requests, So The Candidate Must Have The Ability To Multitask Efficiently.
Organizational Skills - The Front Desk/Host Is Responsible For Maintaining A Neat And Organized Front Desk Area, Managing Guest Check-Ins And Check-Outs, And Keeping Track Of Reservations, So Strong Organizational Skills Are Crucial For This Role.
Team Player Attitude - Dave & Buster's Is A Fast-Paced Environment, And The Front Desk/Host Must Work Well With Other Team Members To Ensure A Smooth Operation And Provide An Enjoyable Experience For Guests.
Knowledge Of Pos Systems - The Candidate Should Have Experience Using Point-Of-Sale (Pos) Systems To Process Payments, Manage Reservations, And Update Guest Information Accurately.
