- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns guests may have.
- Manage the flow of guests by seating them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Assist with guest reservations and inquiries.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure guests are aware of all current promotions and specials.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve them in a professional and timely manner.
- Keep updated on all menu items and prices to provide accurate information to guests.
- Maintain knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve the guest experience and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor at all times.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: The Ability To Provide A Friendly And Welcoming Atmosphere For Guests Is Crucial For A Front Desk/Host At Dave & Buster's. This Includes Being Able To Handle Customer Complaints And Requests In A Professional And Efficient Manner.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Front Desk/Host, You Will Be The Main Point Of Contact For Guests, As Well As The Liaison Between Different Departments Within The Establishment. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Organizational Skills: A Front Desk/Host At Dave & Buster's Must Be Highly Organized And Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. This Includes Managing Reservations, Keeping Track Of Guest Requests, And Maintaining A Clean And Organized Front Desk Area.
Knowledge Of Pos Systems: Proficiency In Using Point-Of-Sale (Pos) Systems Is An Important Requirement For This Role. Dave & Buster's Uses A Variety Of Technology For Reservations, Guest Check-Ins, And Payments, So Being Familiar With Different Pos Systems Is A Plus.
Flexibility And Adaptability: Working At Dave & Buster's Means Dealing With A High Volume Of Guests And A Fast-Paced Environment. Therefore, Being Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Being Flexible With Work Schedules Is Necessary For A Front Desk/Host. This Role May Also Require Working Weekends, Evenings, And Holidays.
