Dave & Buster's is currently seeking an enthusiastic Event Sales Manager to join our team. As the Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving event sales and coordinating all aspects of event planning at our location. We are looking for someone who is organized, creative, and has a strong understanding of the event industry.   1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive event bookings and revenue.
  2. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and attract potential clients.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure successful events and repeat business.
  4. Conduct thorough research on industry trends and competitors to stay ahead of the game and identify new business opportunities.
  5. Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, and other necessary logistics.
  6. Communicate and negotiate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.
  7. Manage event budgets and ensure profitability by controlling expenses and maximizing revenue.
  8. Train and supervise event staff to ensure high-quality service and seamless execution of events.
  9. Create detailed event proposals, contracts, and timelines to present to clients.
  10. Stay updated on event planning best practices and make suggestions for improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
  11. Use creativity and innovation to develop unique and memorable event concepts that align with client needs and preferences.
  12. Monitor and analyze event sales data to track progress and make informed decisions for future bookings.
  13. Represent Dave & Buster's at industry events and trade shows to network and promote the brand.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations, to ensure compliance.
  15. Continuously strive to exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.

  • Strong Sales Experience: A Successful Event Sales Manager At Dave & Buster's Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Goals In A Similar Role. This Requires Strong Negotiation Skills, Persuasive Communication, And The Ability To Close Deals.

  • Knowledge Of Event Planning And Execution: The Event Sales Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Event Planning, Including Logistics, Budgeting, And Vendor Management. This Includes Experience In Coordinating Large-Scale Events Such As Corporate Parties, Fundraisers, And Weddings.

  • Customer Service Orientation: At Dave & Buster's, The Customer Experience Is Paramount. The Event Sales Manager Should Have A Strong Focus On Providing Exceptional Customer Service, Ensuring That Clients' Needs And Preferences Are Met Before, During, And After Events.

  • Organizational And Time Management Skills: With Multiple Events Happening Simultaneously, The Event Sales Manager Must Possess Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills. This Includes The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Strict Deadlines, And Handle Last-Minute Changes Or Emergencies.

  • Team Management: The Event Sales Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Event Coordinators And Ensuring That They Are Trained And Motivated To Provide Exceptional Service. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Resolve Conflicts.
