Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE+I) to lead our Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) and drive our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive DE+I strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to the Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) to ensure they are effectively driving DE+I initiatives.
  3. Foster a culture of belonging and inclusion by promoting diversity and equity throughout the organization.
  4. Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate DE+I into all aspects of the organization, including hiring, training, and development.
  5. Conduct regular assessments to measure the effectiveness of DE+I initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Lead and facilitate training and development programs that promote understanding and awareness of DE+I best practices.
  7. Partner with HR and other departments to ensure DE+I is integrated into all policies, procedures, and practices.
  8. Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on DE+I, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  9. Collaborate with external partners and organizations to further the company's DE+I efforts and initiatives.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to gather feedback and support for DE+I initiatives.
  11. Communicate the company's DE+I progress and initiatives to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  12. Monitor and track diversity and inclusion metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
  13. Act as a mentor and coach to employees, promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.
  14. Lead by example and demonstrate a deep commitment to DE+I in all aspects of the job.
  15. Continuously evaluate and update the DE+I strategy to ensure it remains relevant and impactful.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion (De+I) Initiatives: The Sr. Director Of De+I Associate Resource Groups Must Have A Deep Understanding Of De+I Principles And Strategies, As Well As A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing De+I Initiatives.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills, As The Sr. Director Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Multiple Associate Resource Groups And Their Respective Leaders. They Must Be Able To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Diverse Team Towards A Common Goal.

  • Strategic Thinking And Planning: The Successful Candidate Must Possess Strong Strategic Thinking And Planning Skills To Develop And Execute Long-Term De+I Plans And Goals For The Associate Resource Groups. This Includes Identifying Areas For Improvement And Implementing Strategies To Enhance Diversity And Inclusion Within The Organization.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Sr. Director Must Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization, As Well As External Partners And Stakeholders. They Must Be Able To Communicate The Importance Of De+I And Build Strong Relationships To Drive Change.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices: It Is Essential That The Sr. Director Is Knowledgeable About Best Practices And Trends In De+I, Particularly Within The Industry Danaher Operates In. They Must Be Able To Leverage This Knowledge To Continuously Improve And Enhance The Associate Resource Groups And Their Impact On The Organization.
