- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the quality management system to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Oversee the quality control processes and procedures to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify potential risks.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on quality-related issues, and ensure that all employees are trained on quality processes and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensure that the organization is compliant with all applicable requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on quality assurance and provide guidance to other departments as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Lead investigations into product or service quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions to continuously improve the quality management system.
- Communicate with customers regarding quality-related inquiries and concerns, and work to resolve any issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Manage and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to ensure that quality standards are considered and incorporated into all aspects of the business.
- Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and initiatives to senior management.
Extensive Experience In Quality Assurance: A Senior Quality Assurance Manager At Danaher Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Quality Assurance, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Engineering Environment. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team And Overseeing Quality Processes And Systems.
Strong Knowledge Of Quality Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Quality Standards And Regulations Such As Iso 9001, Fda Regulations, And Other Industry-Specific Quality Standards. This Will Ensure Compliance With Regulations And Drive Continuous Improvement In Processes.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Quality Assurance Professionals. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Other Departments And Stakeholders To Drive Quality Initiatives.
Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: A Senior Quality Assurance Manager Should Have Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Identify Root Causes Of Quality Issues And Implement Effective Corrective And Preventive Actions. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze Data And Metrics To Drive Continuous Improvement In Quality Processes.
