- Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud security strategy for the organization, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement secure cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to cloud security, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with other IT teams to integrate security controls into all stages of the software development life cycle.
- Lead incident response and crisis management activities for cloud security incidents.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security threats and breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud-based systems and applications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders on cloud security matters.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the security of third-party cloud services used by the organization.
- Communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders to provide updates on cloud security initiatives and address any concerns or issues.
- Mentor and train other team members on cloud security best practices and procedures.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Cloud Security Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry-Leading Cloud Security Standards And Best Practices, Such As Cis Benchmarks, Iso 27001, And Nist Frameworks.
Extensive Experience With Cloud Platforms: A Principal Cloud Security Engineer At Danaher Should Have Hands-On Experience Working With Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud. They Should Be Knowledgeable About The Security Features And Capabilities Of These Platforms.
Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Secure Cloud Architectures: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Secure Cloud Architectures For Large-Scale And Complex Environments. This Includes Experience With Network Security, Identity And Access Management, Data Encryption, And Data Protection.
Strong Understanding Of Compliance Requirements: Compliance With Regulatory Standards Is Crucial For A Company Like Danaher, And The Principal Cloud Security Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Compliance Requirements Such As Hipaa, Gdpr, And Sox. They Should Also Have Experience Implementing Controls To Meet These Requirements.
