  1. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all data within the organization.
  2. Monitor and maintain data quality through regular audits, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and requirements for various projects and initiatives.
  4. Serve as the point of contact for all data-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to team members on data governance best practices.
  5. Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and other documentation to ensure a clear understanding of data sources and processes.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to data privacy and security, and ensure all data governance practices are compliant.
  7. Identify and implement data management tools and technologies to support the organization's data governance strategy.
  8. Conduct regular trainings and workshops to promote data literacy and ensure all employees understand their role in maintaining data integrity.
  9. Analyze and report on key data metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  10. Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to data governance.
  11. Continuously review and improve data governance processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Lead data governance initiatives and projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
  13. Manage a team of data governance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  14. Communicate data governance updates and progress to senior management and other stakeholders.
