We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Data Governance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, security, and integrity of our data assets. As a leader in our data governance efforts, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure the accuracy and accessibility of our data.   1. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, security, and accessibility of our data assets.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and maintain data sources, definitions, and data flows.
  3. Monitor and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of our data.
  4. Conduct regular audits and assessments of data assets to identify and address any data quality issues.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to data governance and ensure compliance within the organization.
  6. Develop and maintain data governance training programs for employees to promote understanding and adherence to data management best practices.
  7. Act as a liaison between IT, business units, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in data management practices.
  8. Develop and maintain data governance metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Lead data governance initiatives and projects, including data cleanup and integration efforts.
  10. Communicate and present data governance strategies and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  11. Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in data governance and make recommendations for their implementation.
  12. Foster a culture of data governance and accountability throughout the organization.
  13. Train and mentor team members on data governance principles, policies, and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and process improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Data Science, Information Systems, Or Business Analytics.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Data Governance, Data Management, Or Data Quality Within A Large Organization.

  • Strong Understanding Of Data Management Principles And Best Practices, Including Data Security, Data Quality, And Data Privacy.

  • Proficient In Data Governance Tools And Technologies, Such As Data Cataloging And Metadata Management Platforms.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Data Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
