Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

1. Provide specialized expertise in the areas of medication therapy management, patient counseling, and drug information.
2. Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies related to the practice of pharmacy.
3. Manage patient medication profiles, including evaluation and monitoring of patient medication therapy.
4. Provide patient counseling and education on prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
5. Resolve medication-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal laws.
7. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
8. Act as a resource for pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals.
9. Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other authorized prescribers.
10. Dispense medications in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
11. Remain current on new medications, treatments, and drug interactions.
12. Monitor medication distribution and inventory to ensure adequate supply.
