Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities: • Provide excellent customer service and support to customers • Dispense medications according to physician orders and applicable state and federal regulations • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with patients and staff • Ensure accurate data entry and documentation of prescriptions • Monitor and review patient medication therapies • Counsel patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects • Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions and over-the-counter medication transactions • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Stay current with new drugs, their uses, and possible side effects • Follow company policies and procedures for dispensing medications and processing payments • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices
