Staff Pharmacist

As a Staff Pharmacist for CVS Health, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our customers and patients. We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated individual to join our team.The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited college/university, a current Pharmacy license in good standing, and a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a pharmacy setting. Additionally, a high level of customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong attention to detail are essential. A commitment to patient safety and an understanding of the importance of compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies is also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Dispense medications in accordance with CVS Health policies and procedures
2. Ensure accuracy of all prescriptions filled
3. Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about medications
4. Maintain current knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
5. Ensure compliance with all CVS Health policies and procedures
6. Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
7. Assist with identifying and resolving medication-related issues
8. Assist with training and mentoring of new staff members
9. Maintain patient records and provide reports as needed
10. Participate in continuing education activities and other professional development opportunities
