1. Dispensing Medications: The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately and safely dispensing medications to patients in accordance with state and federal laws and CVS Health policies.
2. Patient Care: The Staff Pharmacist will provide exceptional patient care by counseling patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and answering any questions or concerns they may have.
3. Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensuring the accuracy of all prescriptions and maintaining a strong attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure patient safety.
4. Prescription Processing: Processing and verifying prescriptions, including checking for potential drug interactions, allergies, and other safety considerations.
5. Inventory Management: The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ordering medications, and ensuring proper storage and handling of medications.
6. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as CVS Health policies and procedures.
7. Teamwork and Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in the pharmacy, including pharmacy technicians and other pharmacists, to provide excellent patient care.
8. Continuing Education: Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and participating in ongoing education and training programs.
9. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to all patients, including addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
10. Promotion of Health and Wellness: Educating patients on the importance of medication adherence, as well as promoting health and wellness services offered by CVS Health.
