Staff Pharmacist

1. Dispense Medications: Ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to patients according to CVS Health policies and procedures.
2. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing medication counseling as needed.
3. Maintain Inventory: Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels of medications and supplies, including ordering, receiving, and restocking products.
4. Verify Prescriptions: Verify the accuracy and appropriateness of prescription orders, including drug interactions, allergies, and dosing.
5. Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Communicate and collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies with prescription orders.
6. Ensure Compliance: Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as CVS Health policies and procedures, to ensure the safe and legal dispensing of medications.
7. Train and Supervise Pharmacy Technicians: Supervise and train pharmacy technicians to ensure proper medication handling and dispensing procedures are followed.
8. Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, patient information, and other necessary documentation.
9. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with changes in the pharmaceutical industry, including new medications, treatments, and regulations, to ensure the best possible care for patients.
10. Promote CVS Health Services: Educate patients about CVS Health services, including medication adherence programs, vaccinations, and other health and wellness initiatives.

12. Ensure Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the safe and effective use of medications and compliance with company standards.
