  1. Learn and Understand Company Policies: The Shift Supervisor Trainee will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with CVS Health's policies and procedures, including customer service standards, safety protocols, and inventory management.
  2. Assist in Shift Management: The Trainee will work closely with experienced supervisors to learn how to effectively manage a shift at a retail location. This includes overseeing daily operations, assigning tasks to team members, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  3. Develop Leadership Skills: As a Trainee, the individual will have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by working closely with supervisors and gaining practical experience in managing a team.
  4. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: A key responsibility of the Shift Supervisor Trainee is to provide excellent customer service and ensure that all customers have a positive experience at the store. This includes addressing any customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Support Team Development: The Trainee will assist in training and coaching team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about company policies, products, and services. They will also provide support and guidance to team members to help them succeed in their roles.
  6. Maintain Store Standards: The Trainee will be responsible for ensuring that the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. They will also help monitor and maintain inventory levels and assist with merchandising and product displays.
  7. Demonstrate a Strong Work Ethic: The Shift Supervisor Trainee will be expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic and take on new challenges with enthusiasm. They will also be responsible for ensuring that team members are following company policies and procedures.
  8. Communicate Effectively: The Trainee must have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and supervisors. They will also be responsible for providing clear and timely communication to all stakeholders.
